Dr. Maracle is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor with a mission to empower you to become the healthiest version of yourself. As a Naturopathic Doctor, she is focused on determining what is at the root of your health concerns and developing an individualized, evidence-based treatment plan to get you back to living your best life. She uses an integrative approach to healthcare and works together with other health professionals to ensure her patients are getting the best possible care for their physical, mental and emotional health.
Dr. Maracle believes that sustainable health starts with the fundamentals, including the foods you eat, good quality sleep, stress management and regular movement. She is passionate about her role of a "Doctor as Teacher” and aims to empower her patients by providing them with the necessary knowledge and skill set to overcome the obstacles preventing them from living their most authentic selves. She utilizes all of the naturopathic modalities including diet and lifestyle counselling, nutraceuticals, botanical medicine and acupuncture to create an individualized treatment. Meet Dr. Emmalee Maracle ND
Dr. Maracle has a special interest in gastrointestinal health (IBS, Gastritis, GERD, Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Food Sensitivities etc.), women’s health (Irregular Periods, Uterine Fibroids, Endometriosis, PMS, PCOS, menopause/peri-menopause, etc.) and weight management. As someone who has personally experienced imbalances in these areas of her health, she understands the importance of getting to the root cause in order to reclaim your health.
She is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario. Before entering into naturopathic medical school, she completed a Bachelor's of Science in Human Kinetics and a Master's in Science in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Guelph.
Outside of clinic life, you're likely to find her spending time with friends and family on Georgian Bay, traveling the world, and exploring new coffee shops for the perfect Americano. She considers herself to be a bit of a foodie and loves to cook healthy, nourishing food and create new recipes.
